Due to the inherent Regulating characteristic of the water seal valve although the pressure in the coking chamber can ensure pressure of ≥+5Pa during the entire coking cycle, it can not achieve linear and precise adjustment during the entire coking cycle.
To improve this situation, Dalian Pu Cheng has designed and developed a new type of SCPR®-II Single Chamber Pressure Regulation system, On the basis of the original SCPR®-I system, by adding the dedicated regulating device, precise adjustment of the coking chamber pressure can be better achieved and the pressure of the gas collection pipe can be further reduced (up to -150Pa), which can better improve the unorganized escape and discharge of the oven top and door during the charging period and early coking stage

After the SCPR®-II dedicated regulating device was put into use in Zhanjiang steel, the overall operation of the device was stable. There was no dust escape and smoke at the oven top ,oven door and charging hole. And the dust and gas flow was good.
Under the conditions of low pressure circulation ammonia water (0.25MPa) and high pressure ammonia water spraying (2.5MPa), no ammonia water spattered back to the Ascension pipe (AP). Flushing ammonia water spray evenly at the Goose-neck pipe,and gas cooled well.The SCPR®-II dedicated regulating device operates reliably, without blocking, the valve shaft position and the end cover position seal reliably without smoke leakage, and the control equipment operates smoothly and accurately;The pressure of single coking chamber can be controlled precisely, and the overall pressure curve can be adjusted linearly.
